Scholarship Overview
The ASEAN Scholarship is a prestigious programme administered by Singapore's Ministry of Education (MOE) to nurture outstanding young talents from ASEAN member countries. This scholarship provides exceptional Myanmar students aged 15-18 with a unique opportunity to complete their secondary and pre-university education at top Singapore schools, experiencing world-class education in one of Asia's most advanced education systems.
Scholars study for 4 years (Secondary 3 to Pre-University 2) at selected Singapore secondary schools and junior colleges, leading to the internationally-recognized Singapore-Cambridge GCE A-Level certificate or equivalent qualification. The scholarship covers full school fees, annual allowance with hostel accommodation, settling-in allowance, return economy airfare, and medical benefits. Upon completion, scholars are well-prepared to pursue undergraduate studies at top universities worldwide, with many continuing at NUS, NTU, SMU in Singapore or prestigious universities globally.
What Makes ASEAN Scholarship Special?
