About MMMC
Myanmar Mercantile Marine College (MMMC) is a merchant marine training institution in Myanmar. Nautical and engineering courses were conducted initially in 1963 at Naval Training School, Seikyee, and the Mercantile Marine Training School was established on 1 October 1971. The Institute of Marine Technology (IMT) later came under the Ministry of Transport and Communication (from 15 March 1972), with later organizational updates in 2005.
